Purpose of the Role
The purpose of the
role is
to grow the given enterprise in a B2B desk
based environment. The techniques required
include assessments of opportunities and
target markets, information gathering on
customers and competitors, generating leads
for possible sales, follow-up sales activity
and formal proposal writing. You will need
to prospect a range of products and services
to a high variety of businesses. The BDM
will constantly seek to deliver and exceed
targets, have a strong focus on meeting and
exceeding client expectations and have a
high drive for delivering an exceptional
customer experience.
Principal Accountabilities
-
Responsible for
making proactive outbound calls to the
SME marketplace in order to make contact
with the appropriate business contact.

To build and maintain
professional business relationships with
customers to aid mutually beneficial
relationships with a view to maximise
business potential.

To achieve sales
targets and adapt to ongoing client and
CPM requirements. Targets may change
from time and the job holder will be
required to adapt to changes and
requests from the business.

To become an expert
within the campaign/designated area you

or on-going issues and suggest possible
solutions

Assist team manager

and Experience Required

Proven and
demonstrable record of extensive selling
in a B2B environment

Ability to
demonstrate business acumen

Demonstrable ability

communicate effectively at a variety of
levels. To actively gather and digest
information in order to provide a
consultative solution.

utilising a variety of platforms (word,
