Our client, one
of the UK's leading manufacturers and
supplier of home soft furnishings are
looking to recruit an experienced Senior
Merchandiser to help manage and oversee one
of their major accounts.
The successful
candidate will be responsible for the
following:
* Monthly stock
control from spreadsheets.
* Furnish main
stock control with forecasts and sales
trends.
* Assist in the
development/ growth of the current business.
* Quote sheets.
* Ensure
customer specific factory orders are placed
in a correct and timely manor.
* Liaise with
quality to ensure no potential issues on new
lines.
* Direct FOB
orders/ CIF.
* Chasing any
outstanding factory information i.e. prices/
chasing samples.
* Photography
briefs and ensures that packaging is with
factories with sufficient time to meet
shipment dates.
* Control/
update critical path development.
* Update Bars.
* Liaising with
overseas suppliers ensuring purchase orders
are manufactured and shipped within agreed
lead times.
* Client visits.
* Review
minimums and lead times.
* Customer
liaison/ communication to ensure customer
service levels are maintained are paramount.
* Raise purchase
orders with correct and sufficient
information for factories.
* Collate
information to write product specifications
to send to the factories, giving exact
details how to make, pack and ship.
* Any additional
duties as required.
The ideal
candidate will have extensive experience
within sales and marketing and be able to
demonstrate where you have previously
overseen a key account for the business.
You will have
good Excel skills and have a good attention
to detail and be proactive.
