To create vehicle estimates
using Audatex, Glassmatix and other similar
software for the purpose of auditing &
Invoicing.
Control & manage daily parts
requests and the undoable process, prior to
potential redeployment. Ensuring every
referral opportunity is maximized and the
correct technician is allocated to a repair
first time. Work closely with the control
centre and technicians, to improve
productivity and the return of unused parts.
Support the field based
technicians with compliant work methodology
and calibration settings in line with PAS125
requirements.
Ensure jobs are closed down
in line with our customer agreements and
pricing arrangements.
MAIN TASKS:
· Complete
estimates for all jobs completed by the
companies technicians
· Ensure
job cards are completely audited and non
conformance is reported to the Field
audit manager & Operations manager.
· Daily
point of contact for technicians
requesting parts, ensuring the correct
parts are ordered first time or parts
request rejected if deemed not to be
required.
· Daily
point of contact for technicians when
jobs are deemed to be not in our scope,
ensuring it is not due to individual
skill level, non performance or poor
inspection.
· Closing
all jobs on Mobile Voyager within the
agreed contracted times of the
individual customer & ensuring all
services/products have been charged
correctly.
· Managing
any parts that have not been used,
confirming they have been returned to
vendor & credit notes have been
supplied.
· Managing
the redeployment of any jobs that fall
out of scope, confirming third parties
including company locations have taken over
the referral.
· Liaising
with the contact centre team, operations
and the finance department to ensure our
customers are invoiced correctly
· Supporting
the contact centre team when required
· Work
with the operations team during the
induction process of new technicians
· Supply
work method statements and tool
calibration settings to technicians when
requested or deemed necessary.
· Ensuring
all working practises carried out in
association with estimating, method
statements & tool settings sent to our
workforce comply with BSI & PAS125
standards.

TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE

Previous experience within a similar
role is highly desirable. A minimum of 3
years previous (recent) experience in a
similar role.

Previous experience of the automotive
repair industry will be an advantage.

Qualified Vehicle estimator (ATA
qualification a must).
-
Operational experience would be
beneficial but not essential.
